PANDA CONSERVATION AND WILDLIFE CHINA

Students volunteer at a renowned panda conservation center based in Chendu and work alongside researchers to help care for the pandas. Students monitor their behavior, prepare food, feed the pandas, and clean up their living spaces. When not working with the pandas they trek across the Hailuogou Glacier and hike up Mt. Emei. Students get to know Chengdu and spend a day touring the bustling city of Shanghai.

"The panda conservation trip was lots of fun and really taught me a lot about Chinese culture. We walked around different areas of Sichuan and really got a closer look at the beautiful sights in China. The Panda conservation was one of the highlights. Though cleaning their cages was difficult, it was worth being able to work with the pandas and even feed them. The whole trip made for a really enjoyable week!"
