Himalayan Heydays

A highlight of this expedition is the time spent at a remote school undertaking a community project. Students work with the community from Dhampus at the Shree Gyanodaya Primary School on essential building work; Students  refurbish a classroom making it weatherproof from the extreme weather conditions, more comfortable for the students to learn in and make vital repairs. 

"One thing that I really enjoyed about the DW to Nepal was the group fun that occurred from the beginning to the end of the trip. Dhampus was a massive change of pace from our hectic school lives that seem to consume us. The simplicity of their lifestyle was both revealing and relaxing to the entire group as it was an amazingly significant contrast to our well to do lives in Seoul."
