SCUBA SAIPAN

Students will attend SCUBA certification classes to learn theory and demonstrate skills as part of PADI Open Water certification.  Students who already have a PADI Open Water certification (or equivalent from another company) may seek Advanced Open Water Certification. The course will take place in Saipan, a beautiful island where students will be able to enjoy the weather while they are not diving or studying for their theoretical test.

"Hi, my name is Rebecca Choi, and I went to Saipan for scuba diving this Discovery Week 2016. This was my second year attending scuba diving, but at a different location. I was previously certified for Open Water, so I obtained Advanced Open Water certificate on this trip. Overall, I had a really great experience, learning new skills and relationships on this trip. Unlike Kota Kinabalu, the aquatic life underwater in Saipan was much more rich and beautiful as well. I was blessed to be able to experience all different kind of things on this trip, from learning new scuba diving skills to interacting with new people. I believe that everyone on the trip has bonded very well, as we have utilized our free times to get to know each other thoroughly. I would personally recommend this trip to other students, as it is a wonderful experience to encounter and it is a very valuable skill."
